We talk a lot about poop. Might seem immature but hear me out. In fact, as a team whose work surrounds wellness, it’s almost kind of impossible to not talk about it, especially as our R&D team is currently knee-deep in research and development for our first supplement, which aims to tackle digestive health. We surveyed many of you, and 97% of you answered “yes” when we asked if you experienced bloating. This was the “aha” moment for our team when we found that the relationship between digestive health and feeling good is way more complex than we realized.
Our team’s core mission that drives our product development is that everything about your body is interconnected, and everything your body does is a precious nugget of communication from your body. Even your poops. And to illustrate this, I want to share a pretty popular, yet extremely underrated chart that keyed us into just how communicative our bodies can be. Below is a photo of the clinically-validated Bristol Stool Scale, which is also referred to as the Meyers Scale.

Cabot Health, Bristol Stool Chart
As noted in the chart above, your stool can alert you to things like water consumption, fiber intake, and provide signs of gastrointestinal dysfunction. To take it a step further, you could quantify certain patterns of digestive health by tracking your overall Bristol Stool Scale over certain periods of time. You have to admit - it’s pretty cool.
Know of any other signs throughout the body that indicate a correlation? Write to us at hello@mydailymulti.com if you want our research team to do a deep dive into it. Furthermore, check out our Mutlidex to learn more about the Bristol Stool Scale and other related gut health topics.
